About the Job:
The Land Development Project Engineer role is a critical position within our Kennewick, WA office.
Our team members are passionate about delivering exceptional services and strive for excellence in all aspects of their work.
This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, including single and multi-family residential, commercial, mixed-use developments, educational, and industrial projects.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate civil development service efforts with engineering, planning, and survey leads.
- Self-perform design and lead design teams when required.
- Prepare and coordinate technical activities for quality control purposes.
- Interact with agencies, partners, and clients to acquire necessary permits and approvals.
- Communicate effectively with clients, sub-consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in project development, planning, permitting, design, and construction phases.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, planners, sub-consultants, and public agencies on projects.
- Attend public meetings, forums, and open houses to discuss project details and answer questions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain one in Washington within 1 year.
- 5-8 years of civil engineering design experience in land development areas.
- AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is required.
Compensation:
Salary range: $90,000 - $120,000 annually, determined by experience.
