Responsibilities:
  • Welcome clients and patients for appointments or walk-ins, escorting them to exam rooms with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Collaborate closely with veterinarians during appointments, surgery, dentistry, and end-of-life procedures.
  • Ensure patient comfort by restraining animals as needed, collecting and processing lab samples, dispensing medications under veterinary supervision.
  • Manage appointment scheduling, client communication, test result dissemination, and accounts receivable with precision and attention to detail.

Estimated Salary: $52,000 - $65,000 per year

Work Environment: The primary work location is Petco's Vetco Total Care full-service hospital, where job duties involve standing, bending, lifting (up to 30 pounds), and prolonged periods of standing.
