Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Director to join our team at Alvarez & Marsal Tax, LLC. As a Director of Executive Compensation and Benefits Consulting, you will be responsible for assisting clients with the design, implementation, and monitoring of their compensation philosophy and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement annual and long-term incentive awards, considering tax, accounting, and regulatory ramifications
  • Prepare tax calculations and analyses/models to help clients make informed compensation decisions and comply with applicable rules and regulations
  • Review calculations and work product of peers for accuracy and reasonableness
  • Manage risk, resources, staffing, and financial performance for multiple engagements
  • Identify key tax issues and quantify their impact in a clear, concise, and thoughtful analysis
  • Conduct day-to-day management of accounts to ensure timely and accurate work product delivery
  • Supervise, develop, mentor, and motivate team members

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Juris Doctor, Masters in Tax, licensed CPA, or specialty compensation and benefits certification
  • 7 years of related work experience
  • Strong knowledge of executive compensation and statistical analysis, incentive plan design and analysis, and pay structure analysis and design
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage deadlines effectively
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
