Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 per year, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical/dental, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, tax deferred retirement plan, and generous paid time off.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Information Technology and Digital Transformation to lead our technology efforts. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of aligning technology strategy with organizational goals and driving innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and executes a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with Matheny's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
  • Leads digital transformation efforts across the organization, including large-scale EMR implementations and process improvement initiatives.
  • Oversees all aspects of Matheny's information systems, IT infrastructure, clinical systems, cybersecurity, data governance, and technology operations.
  • Establishes and chairs a Technology Steering Committee to guide technology investments, prioritize initiatives, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develops and manages annual and multi-year technology budgets, oversees technology vendor relationships, and negotiates contracts.
  • Leads the development and execution of a formal cybersecurity program aligned with HIPAA and NIST standards.
  • Establishes a data governance program to improve quality, accessibility, and utilization across the organization.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience, with at least 5 years at a senior executive level in a healthcare organization.
  • Demonstrated experience leading large-scale EMR implementations and digital transformation initiatives in complex healthcare environments.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare IT systems, cybersecurity best practices, data governance, and regulatory compliance requirements.
