Medical Director for Large Hospitalist Group

Sound Physicians is a leading hospitalist group that prioritizes a patient-first approach and fosters a collegial work environment. Our team consists of medical directors who strive to help physicians perform at their highest level by providing autonomy, resources, and support.
Salary: $1,370 (day) - $1,720 (nights) per shift, with quality and productivity incentives, in addition to benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Medical Director to join our team. As the largest group in JPS, we care for most patients while collaborating with hospital partners to provide high-quality, efficient patient-centered care. Our office has a relaxed and friendly environment, and we offer initial healthcare interactions, medical care, education, and support to a patient population with limited access to routine medical care and health-related resources. We work in EPIC and provide access to our internal informatics platform.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have board eligibility or certification in internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM), be able to handle complex medical and social scenarios, and possess a patient-centered and compassionate mindset. We also value H1-B sponsorship through the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
