Are you a customer-focused individual looking for a challenging role with a reputable company? Valet Park of America is seeking a Freight Transport Associate to join our team in Albany. This is a full-time, year-round position offering a competitive hourly rate of $22/hour to start.

About the Role

As a Freight Transport Associate, you will be responsible for safely transporting customers to various destinations while providing exceptional customer service. Your duties will include greeting patrons, assisting with luggage, and ensuring the cleanliness of our shuttles.

You will also be required to adhere to all traffic laws and signs, complete pre-trip inspections, and communicate effectively with customers and colleagues. In addition, you will be responsible for recording passenger counts and trip times, completing necessary paperwork, and assisting with equipment setup and breakdown.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patrons in a polite manner and assist them as needed
  • Safely transport customers to various destinations
  • Open and close doors for patrons
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and signs
  • Communicate effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Complete pre-trip inspections and record passenger counts and trip times
  • Complete necessary paperwork and assist with equipment setup and breakdown
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a valid NY Class C or higher CDL with a passenger endorsement. A valid medical card is also required, as well as excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently. Background checks and driving tests will be conducted as part of the hiring process.
