Overview

This role oversees the execution of a Technology first-line of defense (LOD1) risk and internal control program for Early Warning. The individual will collaborate with the company's Enterprise Risk Management Leadership to ensure consistency in the implementation and operationalization across the enterprise.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Maintain and update technology policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements.
  2. Ensure adherence to policy approval processes and conduct thorough analyses of policy changes to identify potential impacts on Technology teams.
  3. Analyze and maintain Technology's process inventory and internal control environment inventory to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
  4. Act as a primary point of contact for external and internal audits and assessments (SOC2, PCI DSS, etc.).
  5. Efficiently communicate technology and security-related risks and vulnerabilities to stakeholders.
  6. Validate that implemented solutions align with currently approved policy, working closely with Technology and Security teams.
  7. Serve as liaison between business lines, Enterprise Risk Management, and Operational Risk Management to facilitate communication and issue resolution.
  8. Conduct control testing of technology controls to ensure proper implementation and operation.
  9. Create, facilitate, and manage risk identification and remediation processes to minimize exposure.
Qualifications
  1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or equivalent experience.
  2. A minimum of 7 years of related experience in security, governance, compliance, IT audit, information technology, or related fields.
  3. Familiarity with ISO 27000, PCI DSS, NIST 800-53a, COBIT, FFIEC handbook, SOC2 Type II, GLBA, FCRA, FISMA.
  4. Effective communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  5. A background and drug screen are required.
Bonus Information
  • The annual salary range for this position in Phoenix, AZ/Chicago, IL is $125,000 - $145,000.
  • In San Francisco, CA, the salary range is $140,000 - $160,000.
  • Candidates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits package.
