Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Hospitalist Physician to join our team at CommonSpirit Health Mountain Region. As a Hospitalist, you will provide high-quality medical care to patients and facilitate the transition of care at discharge from the hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care to ensure that the healthcare needs of patients are met.
  • Attend Interdisciplinary or nursing rounds and communicate daily with the team caring for the patient.
  • Rend quality medical services according to qualifications as an internal medicine or family practice physician with appropriate referrals, follow-up, and hospitalization.
  • Support hospital medical staff and other area physicians utilizing the Hospitalist service by overseeing the inpatient experience.
  • Communicate health status and treatment plan to patient, family, and hospital staff.
  • Document information completely for patient care and billing purposes.
Requirements
  • Doctorate of Medicine required.
  • Current Physician License in the state of Colorado required.
  • Current BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association required.
  • Other certifications may be required depending on practice setting or credentialing requirements.
