We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Pocatello, ID. As a New Grad Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to participate in a comprehensive residency program that includes preceptorship, continuing education opportunities, and support from all angles: management, education, and your peers.

Responsibilities:
  • Participate in a 12-18 month residency program designed to support new graduate nurses in transitioning into practice.
  • Work collaboratively with a designated preceptor to develop skills and confidence in patient care delivery.
  • Develop strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on experience and feedback from experienced RNs.

Qualifications:
  • Expected graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program
  • Current BLS certification
  • Good interpersonal, communication, team-work, and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving and follow-through skills
  • Ability to multi-task constantly, react to changes quickly/productively, and tolerate interruptions

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Portneuf Medical Center is a nationally recognized healthcare leader with 205 beds, serving as the region's tertiary care and Level II Trauma Center, housing the Portneuf Heart and Vascular Institute, Portneuf Cancer Center, Portneuf Medical Group, and Portneuf Air Rescue.
