Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Surgical Technologist who can provide assistance during surgical procedures, maintain a safe and clean environment, and ensure the well-being of patients. As a key member of our surgical team, you will be responsible for preparing operating rooms, setting up equipment, and assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare operating rooms, set up equipment, and maintain a safe and clean environment
  • Ensure the well-being of patients by providing emotional support and monitoring vital signs
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Nurse Aide certification or equivalent experience
  • Certificate of General Educational Development (GED) or High School Equivalency Diploma (HSED), or High School Graduate
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull with 30 pounds of force, and perform a sliding transfer of 150 pounds with a second person present. The successful candidate must also be able to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $ $62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
