We are seeking a compassionate and skilled After-Hours Registered Nurse to join our team at CHRISTUS Hospice in Corpus Christi, TX. As a key member of our hospice care team, you will provide end-of-life care to patients and their families after regular business hours, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive and timely delivery of hospice care for patients and their families after regular business hours
Triage patient needs over the phone until a nurse can provide an in-person visit
Respond to crisis calls from patients and families after hours
Make initial nursing evaluations and determine eligibility for hospice services
Perform after-hours visits, including admission visits, death visits, recertification visits, and routine visits
Requirements
One year of clinical experience
Current RN licensure in the state of practice and one year of clinical experience
Current CPR Certification
Current driver's license, valid vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
