Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Patient Care Coordinator to join our team at OnPoint Medical Group in Castle Pines Family Practice.

As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office and delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Greet patients warmly and professionally, either in person or over the phone, setting the tone for a positive experience.
  2. Prepare for patient visits by verifying insurance information, updating records, and completing any necessary administrative tasks to ensure seamless processing.
  3. Register new patients, verify existing patient information, and collect co-pays and payments as needed.
  4. Answer inbound calls to schedule appointments and serve as a liaison between clinical staff and patients, addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
  5. Perform various administrative duties to maintain an organized front office, facilitate efficient billing, and support the overall success of our clinic.
  6. Schedule outbound calls to patients to arrange appointments and ensure timely follow-up.
  7. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines, upholding the highest standards of patient data protection.
  8. Demonstrate punctuality and regular attendance, recognizing the importance of being present and engaged during working hours.
  9. Follow instructions from management and respond promptly to direction, aligning your efforts with the broader goals of our organization.
  10. Work collaboratively within a team environment while also possessing the ability to complete individual tasks efficiently.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with strong computer skills and attention to detail essential for success in this role.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS include some college coursework in medical, business, or accounting fields, along with customer service experience, CPR certification, and 1-2 years of experience in a business office or clinical setting.

  • We offer a competitive salary range of $19-$23 per hour, commensurate with experience.
