Job Summary

Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital is seeking a skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab Special Procedures Radiology Technologist to support the Cardiac Cath Lab.

  • Full-time/Day Shift - 4/10hr shifts per week, Monday through Friday
  • Night and weekend call required
  • Must live within 30 minutes of MH Southeast Hospital in order to accommodate call
About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join a cohesive and collaborative team that prioritizes patient care and safety. As a Cardiac Cath Lab Special Procedures Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing special/invasive radiology procedures on patients, ensuring compliance with all radiation safety procedures.

  • Prepares patients for exam, explains procedure, administers contrast when necessary, positions patients for the exam, selects appropriate imaging techniques, and ensures technical quality of the images.
  • Enters and monitors patient data.
  • Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support.
  • Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
  • Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R).
