Job Summary

Grizzly Security Armored Express is seeking a highly skilled HR Manager to join our team at our Corporate Office in Kalispell, Montana. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, including payroll administration, recruitment, interviewing, onboarding, employee relations, policy implementation, benefits administration, performance evaluation, and employment law compliance.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong understanding of human resource concepts and best practices, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a high level of maturity and stability, able to work well as a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staffing and Recruitment: Manage job descriptions, post job advertisements, review resumes and screen applicants, arrange interviews, and maintain applicant tracking documentation.
  • Onboarding: Conduct new hire orientation, prepare new hire/onboarding packets, ensure proper legal employment documentation, and submit and monitor Board of Private Security licensure.
  • Benefits Administration: Enroll and terminate employees in employee benefits programs, audit and report for benefits programs, enroll and administer the company 401(k) Plan, and audit and report related to the company 401(k) Plan.
  • Payroll Administration: Audit and report timekeeping reports, manage PTO balances, assist in the preparation of payroll, and provide guidance to managers and employees regarding timekeeping, PTO, benefits, legal requirements, and policies.
  • HR Administration: Maintain employee files and handle changes in employee status, maintain compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and recommended best practices, maintain and update employee directory both internally and externally, oversee and manage performance reviews, and oversee employee disciplinary issues.
  • Employee Communications: Write and design employee-centered communications, coordinate with Senior Management and supervisory teams.
  • Training and Development: Assist with development of employee education, maintain employee training logs, coordinate training events or programs, and recommend resources as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree (HR degree preferred)
  • Minimum of five years of human resource experience
  • Minimum one year of recruitment experience required; two plus years preferred
  • Solid understanding of federal and state employment regulations
  • Working knowledge of office processes

  • Intermediate skills in Paylocity, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Salary and Employment

Salary: DOE - $52,000-$60,000 annually
