Job Summary

At Diverse Lynx LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Architect to join our team. As a key member of our network infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our data communication networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data communication networks to meet organizational needs
  • Partner with vendors to select appropriate technical solutions
  • Plan and design data communication networks
  • Present network plans to management staff
  • Oversee the network implementation process, including setting schedules and budgets
  • Develop state-of-the-art technology to deliver stable and scalable technical solutions
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop consensus, drive results, and execute projects across the organization on time and within budget
  • Manage several simultaneous projects from conception through implementation
  • Contribute to standards and design patterns
  • Deliver solutions tailored to internal business requirements
  • Articulate design rationale, flexibly adapt solutions, and iterate designs when required
  • Manage information and network security
  • Implement upgrades to hardware and software as needed
  • Routers, Switches, LAN/WAN Design and Engineering
  • VPN technologies, Network Encryption and Network Access Control experience
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS-based routers: ASR, ISRs, Cat8Ks
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Licensing Server
  • Cisco IOS-based switches within the Catalyst and Nexus families
  • Strong working knowledge of networking layer 3 technologies, such as routing protocols OSPF, BGP, EVPN, ACI, Multicast, VRF, GRE & IPSec
  • Solid working knowledge of data communication protocol suites such as TCP/IP and other general data networking knowledge (data cabling), and telecom services (T1/T3/OC3, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of network infrastructure performance diagnosis and scalability assessment activities
  • In-depth knowledge of layer 2 technologies, such as Vlans, Spanning-Tree, MLAG, MEC, VXLAN and MPLS
  • Central Authentication, Authorization and Accounting protocols such as RADIUS or TACACS+
  • Display their core network engineering fundamental knowledge which includes but not limited to network system design and implementation procedures

Requirements
  • At least 12+ years of experience with core networking technologies and other disciplines related to data communications
  • Ability to work and document proof of concepts (POCs), assessments, detailed evaluations report etc.
  • Keeping documentation of networks, including drawings, descriptions and configurations
  • Solid understanding of network topologies: routing & switching
  • Solid understanding of IP networking (TCP/IP and packet analysis)
  • Researching network technologies and staying up to date on advancements in the field
  • Ability to write technical and operations documentation
  • Ability to describe technical concepts; verbally and on paper
  • Cisco Certification, CCNP or above a plus

  • Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently, perform multiple tasks and take decisions where necessary, under minimal supervision
