About the Opportunity
The Mount Sinai Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team at the Union Health Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our multidisciplinary staff to deliver exceptional outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Deliver professional services within the Center, collaborating with specialists to provide comprehensive care to our patients.
- Participate in quality improvement efforts, driving clinical performance and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
- Contribute to the development of policies and standards of patient care, ensuring a patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Support the stated goals and objectives of the Patient Centered Medical Home, working cooperatively with all clinical and non-clinical staff to enhance the Health Center's team-based approach to patient care.
Requirements
- Active Medical Degree from an accredited university.
- Valid New York Medical License required.
- Board eligible or board certified in Family Practice or Internal Medicine.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for healthcare, demonstrated through academic pursuits and/or professional experience.
- Experience improving quality of care and operational efficiency in previous roles.
- Proficient with electronic health records.
- Strongly preferred: Proficiency in Spanish.
