Policy and Research Manager for Longevity Economy

AARP seeks a highly skilled Policy and Research Manager for Longevity Economy to lead the development and communication of the organization's public policies and research on issues affecting people 50-plus.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of economic trends and drivers, as well as experience in analyzing federal and state legislative and regulatory proposals.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and working with cross-functional teams to identify public policy priorities and position.
  • Building and leveraging external relationships to achieve results.
  • Conducting policy research and analysis to identify opportunities and develop solutions.
  • Writing reports and recommendations that demonstrate thought leadership and support enterprise objectives.

Qualifications include:

  • Advanced degree in Economics, Finance, Public Policy, Business, Mathematics, Political Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent in the use of data and metrics to explain current trends of global economics.
  • Proven ability to quickly understand and interpret strategic issues and directions.
