Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our team at Pike National Bank. As a Bank Teller, you will be the initial point of contact for our valued customers, providing exceptional service and support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process customer transactions, including deposits, transfers, withdrawals, and credit card transactions.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring quality interactions and outstanding customer satisfaction.
  • Exercise good judgment and discretion while performing duties within bank guidelines and policies.
  • Identify customer needs for bank products and services, matching products to those needs.
  • Responsible for the security of cash and transaction documentation.
  • Responsible for handling large volumes of cash and balancing individual cash drawers on a daily basis.
  • Must be continuously aware of fraud loss and check cashing guidelines as well as all security/audit policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for Regulatory Reporting requirements associated with the teller position.
  • Subject to performing cash shipments between branches and performing vault teller functions.
  • Required to train other tellers as needed.
  • Complete and successfully pass required skills tests.
  • Contribute to meeting any PNB's goals and objectives.
  • Complete work-related reports and educational computer courses in between customers, assigned by management.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent, some college preferred.
  • Cash handling experience or sales experience.
  • Conscientious worker with excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple daily tasks and work under pressure with speed and accuracy.
  • Excellent attendance.
  • Professional appearance and cooperative attitude.
  • Understanding of customer service techniques, PC/10 key functions.
  • Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 50 lbs. if required to perform the essential job functions.
Work Schedule

Subject to working any shift hours Monday-Thursday 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
