Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Geriatric Care Specialist. As a member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing quality care to patients and ensuring their safety and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians and according to facility policies.
  • Lead and supervise nursing assistants and orderlies to ensure effective care delivery.
  • Assist physicians with rounds and examinations as needed.
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain infection control measures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

  • A current, valid license from the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
  • CPR certification is required yearly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions regarding patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
