Occupational Therapy Assistant

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Medical Facilities of America. As an OTA, you will work closely with our Occupational Therapists to develop and implement rehabilitation programs that focus on patient recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Occupational Therapists to create and implement occupational therapy programs.
- Work directly with patients to achieve maximum physical recovery and independence.
- Evaluate the effects of therapy treatment and communicate patient progress to the healthcare team.
- Record and document patient care services to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to provide well-rounded patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
- Current VA OTA license.
- Experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred but not required.
- Proven excellent customer service and patient care skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
