Associate Registrar

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Associate Registrar to support the Princeton University Art Museum with exhibition and loan activity. The successful candidate will have a strong background in museum registration and administration, with experience shipping loans and exhibitions domestically and internationally.
Key Responsibilities- Outgoing Loans: Prepare objects in the PUAM collection for outgoing loan, creating documents and managing the loan process with internal and external partners.
- Incoming Loans: Prepare incoming loans to PUAM, creating documents and managing the loan process with internal and external partners.
- Exhibition Coordination: Coordinate all loans and collections objects for PUAM exhibitions, forecasting loan costs, creating budgets, and coordinating with lenders and shipping agents.
- BA with 3-5 years of experience in museum registration and administration.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and relational databases.
- Experience shipping loans and exhibitions, acting as a courier, and knowledge of current best practices in the field.
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage budgets.
