Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Coordinator II to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital. As a key member of our clinical operations team, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and service to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients and families, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Manage and maintain appointment scheduling for patients, ensuring accurate and timely communication with providers and staff.
  • Support patients with insurance, billing, and medical administrative questions, providing clear and concise information and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
  • Assist with special projects and initiatives, utilizing your skills and expertise to drive process improvement and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a highly clinically customer service-focused role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
