Senior Fluxcore Welder

We are seeking an experienced Senior Fluxcore Welder to join our team in Sturgeon Bay, WI. As a key member of our shipbuilding production team, you will be responsible for performing structural welds using a range of welding processes and filler metals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Use manual and mechanized welding processes to perform structural welds in all phases of ship construction.
• Conduct visual inspections and nondestructive testing to ensure high-quality welds.
• Troubleshoot minor welding equipment problems and maintain a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet project deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a fluxcore welder in a shipbuilding or similar industry.
• Familiarity with 2G and 3G FCAW (Flux Cored Arc Welding) processes.
• Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
