Job Description

TEFCO Transportation LLC is seeking a skilled Pilot Escort Specialist to join our team. As a Pilot Escort Specialist, you will be responsible for safely escorting heavy haul transport vehicles to ensure timely delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely delivery of goods.
  • Conduct daily maintenance checks on tractor and trailer equipment.
  • Assist with the transport of heavy loads and ensure safe passage through designated routes.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
  • Document clearances and areas of concern through route surveys.
  • Measure loads and adjust equipment to accommodate.
  • Perform alternative tasks as assigned by supervisor.
Work Environment:

The Pilot Escort Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions. The driver will be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Compensation:
  • Entry Level base pay $750.00 wkly plus 10% commission per each completed Escort job.
  • Intermediate Level base pay $900.00 wkly plus 12% commission per completed Escort job.
  • Expert Level base pay $1,200.00 wkly plus 15% commission per completed Escort job.
Requirements:
  • Escort/Pilot Experience a plus
  • Must pass a background check
  • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Must pass an MVR check
