We are seeking highly motivated and charismatic servers to join our team at Little Madrid, located in the heart of Albuquerque, NM. As a Spanish Server, you will be part of a vibrant and eclectic culinary experience that showcases the rich flavors and traditions of Spain.

About Us:

Sawmill Market is a unique food hall offering an artisanal selection of cuisine from around the world. Our restaurant, Little Madrid, pays homage to the diverse and beautiful cuisine of Spain, with a focus on paella, tapas, Basque cheesecake, wine, and fresh charcuterie.

Role Overview:

As a Spanish Server, your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have an unforgettable dining experience. You will work closely with our Front of House team to create an atmosphere that is both welcoming and refined.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service, greeting guests and responding to their needs in a timely and professional manner.
  • Articulate the story behind our menu items, highlighting the inspiration and passion that goes into each dish.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring that food and drinks are delivered simultaneously.
  • Address any issues or concerns guests may have in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor, even in high-pressure situations.

Requirements:

  • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Server Certification required.
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods, up to 8 hours.
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry objects weighing up to 20 pounds frequently.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to multitask.
  • Energetic personality with a service-oriented attitude.

Compensation and Benefits:

Our competitive hourly wage starts at $7.20 per hour, with opportunities for tips and benefits. Part-time employees receive dental, vision, and 401k coverage, while full-time employees enjoy medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, accident, critical illness, and 401k benefits.
