Underwriting Consultant

Job Summary:

As an Underwriting Consultant at National Life Group, you will be responsible for conducting contestable reviews for claims and underwriting within the 2-year contestability period. This involves analyzing health-related data, using tools and third-party information, to provide real-time feedback and protect the bottom line of NLG. You will also underwrite after-issue policy change requests, authorizing changes to policies while maintaining profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct reviews for after-issue policy changes and contestable reviews
• Analyze health-related data and use tools and third-party information

Requirements:

• 5+ years of industry experience
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and efficiently
