Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Analyst to join our team at Aequor Technologies. As a key member of our quality control department, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of laboratory cleanliness and safety, developing and qualifying new testing methods, and training other analysts to perform laboratory procedures and assays.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Laboratory Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop and Qualify New Testing Methods: Design, develop, and qualify new testing methods to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Train and Develop Analysts: Train and develop other analysts to perform laboratory procedures and assays, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Perform Visual Inspections: Conduct visual inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Participate in Assessments and Audits: Participate in internal assessments and audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify and Troubleshoot Equipment Problems: Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous testing.
  • Evaluate New Technologies and Methods: Evaluate new technologies and methods to make recommendations for their use in the laboratory.
  • Serve as Technical Liaison: Serve as a technical liaison between quality control and other departments, vendors, or contractors to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Coordinate Testing with Contract Laboratories: Coordinate testing with contract laboratories and vendors to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Write Technical Reports and Documentation: Write technical reports and documentation, including deviation reports, testing protocols, and trend analyses.
  • Develop and Maintain Quality Control Procedures: Develop and maintain quality control procedures, including standard operating procedures and quality control plans.
  • Supply Quality Control Data: Supply quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions, including data from contract laboratories.
  • Receive and Inspect Raw Materials: Receive and inspect raw materials to ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Review Data from Contract Laboratories: Review data from contract laboratories to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and Review Method Transfer Documentation: Prepare and review method transfer documentation, including technical transfer protocols and reports.
  • Perform Validations and Transfers: Perform validations and transfers of analytical methods in accordance with applicable policies and guidelines.
  • Participate in Investigations and Corrective Actions: Participate in out-of-specification and failure investigations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor Testing Procedures: Monitor testing procedures to ensure that all tests are performed according to established item specifications, standard test methods, or protocols.
  • Investigate Questionable Test Results: Investigate or report questionable test results to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Interpret Test Results: Interpret test results, compare them to established specifications and control limits, and make recommendations on appropriateness of data for release.
  • Identify Quality Problems and Recommend Solutions: Identify quality problems and recommend solutions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate Analytical Methods and Procedures: Evaluate analytical methods and procedures to determine how they might be improved.
  • Complete Documentation: Complete documentation needed to support testing procedures, including data capture forms, equipment logbooks, or inventory forms.
  • Calibrate, Validate, and Maintain Laboratory Equipment: Calibrate, validate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
  • Compile Laboratory Test Data: Compile laboratory test data and perform appropriate analyses to ensure accurate and reliable results.
  • Conduct Routine and Non-Routine Analyses: Conduct routine and non-routine analyses of in-process materials, raw materials, environmental samples, finished goods, or stability samples.
