About the Role

As a Career Development Specialist at Jobs for Ohio's Graduates, you will play a vital role in helping high school youth successfully transition to employment, education, or enlistment.

You will be integrated into an assigned Summit County high school(s), where you will work closely with students, teachers, and other stakeholders to remove barriers and achieve their goals.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Competency instruction and promoting the goals of JOG
  • Facilitating compliance with JOG's standards and objectives
  • Assessing participant needs and developing their skill set
  • Providing mentorship and tracking/documenting progress

To succeed in this role, you will require a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Teaching, Social Work, Human Resource Management, or Career Development. Relevant work experience with the private sector or disadvantaged youth is also highly desirable.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $45,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
