Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer II to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Circuit Card Assembly Factory in Andover, MA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the operation of SMT Process lines, including automated and programmable equipment, for multiple products.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives, establishment of process baseline metrics, SPC implementation, defect prevention, and process data analysis.
  • Lead root cause and corrective action investigations to solve problems and prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate with senior personnel on technical matters, often requiring coordination between organizations and/or suppliers.
  • Develop and implement tools and fixtures to drive ergonomics and reductions in cost and/or defect.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
  • Knowledge and experience with ANSI J-STD-001 Class 3 & IPC-CC-830.
  • Experience in applying Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with supporting circuit card assembly production floor, (process and/or quality focus).
