Mechanical Control Systems Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance, installation, and repair of HVAC systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Monitor and adjust Building Automation Systems (BAS) controls to optimize energy usage and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with the Health System Energy Manager and external vendors to ensure seamless operation of department systems.
  • Repair and maintain all HVAC air handling and chiller plant equipment, including thermostats, motors, compressors, and controls.
  • Troubleshoot EMS-related problems and assist with installation of EMS computer hardware and software.
Credentials and Requirements:
  • Class A Engineer's License (Required)
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare design, construction, or maintenance, with familiarity with Building Automation Systems (BAS) (Required)
