Nurse Specialist in General Surgery

Job SummaryWe're seeking a skilled and compassionate Med Surg RN to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you'll provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to the development of nursing practices.
Responsibilities- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to ensure exceptional patient care
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans to meet individual needs
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and colleagues
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and nursing practices
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in a BSN or advanced degree program with a BSN within 5 years of hire date
- Current licensure as a registered nurse with the North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- One year of hospital nursing experience
