About the Role:

Pate Rehabilitation, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders based on physician orders/referrals
  • Complete comprehensive evaluations using appropriate evaluation and assessment tools and procedures
  • Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to move patients toward their maximum level of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities
  • Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, and family members as applicable
  • Consult with medical providers regarding patient evaluation and treatment, progress, and discharge from treatment
  • Maintain and submit evaluation, treatment, and billing documentation in the required format and timelines

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current, unrestricted license as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support or cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification in accordance with state regulations
  • Minimum of one year's work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
