As a Medical Technologist at HCA Florida Trinity Hospital, your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing accurate and timely laboratory testing by analyzing proficiency testing samples according to instructions and completing within the allowable time frame
  • Assuming responsibility of the department as appropriate in the absence of the supervisor
  • Completing all required records/documentation pertaining to patient results
  • Performing stat procedures within established turnaround time targets
  • Demonstrating the ability to use good judgment and independent thinking in the correlation and interpretation of patient results

To be successful in this role, you should have:

Requirements:
  • A 2-Year/Associate Degree in Medical Technology or a related field
  • A State of Florida Technologist License or the ability to obtain one during the interview process
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Technologist
  • Technologist License in one or more clinical specialty areas: Generalist highly preferred
