Diagnostic Imaging Technologist

As a skilled X-ray/CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the diagnosis of patients by performing diagnostic imaging examinations using CT scans, X-ray and other modalities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct X-ray imaging and CT exams procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocol.
- Prepare patients for radiologic/CT procedures and ensure their comfort and safety during exams.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality control standards are met.
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to patients' confidentiality guidelines.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be registered with ARRT holding RT-R and RT-CT.
- Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) holding RT-R, RT-CT.
- Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist/CT of more than 10 years or more is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of EHR Systems.
Qualifications:
- Must be registered with ARRT holding RT-R and RT-CT.
- Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- High school diploma.
- Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist/CT Tech of more than 10 years or more is preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting.
- Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient's manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination.
- Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
- Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal ranges.
- Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
- Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a hospital and/or clinic environment.
