About the Role

As a skilled X-ray/CT Technologist, you will play a crucial role in assisting in the diagnosis of patients by performing diagnostic imaging examinations using CT scans, X-ray and other modalities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct X-ray imaging and CT exams procedures in accordance with physician orders and department protocol.
  2. Prepare patients for radiologic/CT procedures and ensure their comfort and safety during exams.
  3. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality control standards are met.
  4. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to interpret imaging results.
  5. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to patients' confidentiality guidelines.
  6. Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols during procedures.

Requirements:

  1. Must be registered with ARRT holding RT-R and RT-CT.
  2. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) holding RT-R, RT-CT.
  3. Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist/CT of more than 10 years or more is preferred.
  4. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  5. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  6. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
  7. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  8. Basic Life Support (BLS).
  9. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  10. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  11. Excellent customer service skills.
  12. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  13. Knowledge of EHR Systems.

Qualifications:

  1. Must be registered with ARRT holding RT-R and RT-CT.
  2. Associate degree in Radiologic Technology from accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
  3. High school diploma.
  4. Previous experience as a Radiologic Technologist/CT Tech of more than 10 years or more is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Varied activities including standing, walking, reaching, bending, lifting.
  2. Requires full range of body motion including handling and lifting patient's manual and finger dexterity and eye hand coordination.
  3. Requires standing and walking for extensive periods of time.
  4. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  5. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal ranges.
  6. Requires working under stressful conditions or working irregular hours.
  7. Exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, and other conditions common to a hospital and/or clinic environment.
