We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, Florida. This role will involve designing, analyzing, and configuring avionics equipment subsystems.

Responsibilities
  • Design, analyze, configure, test, document, and troubleshoot avionics equipment subsystems
  • Document designs using detailed schematics, diagrams, and specifications
  • Collaborate with engineers and program stakeholders to integrate avionics subsystems and components to meet platform mission objectives
  • Technical management of program strategic partners and suppliers, including acceptance, qualification, system integration, and test support
  • Requirements development, analysis, maturation, and implementation
  • Perform informal and formal testing of subsystem requirements
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university AND 2 years of related professional/military experience in engineering; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in engineering; or a Ph.D. in STEM AND 0 years of related professional/military experience in engineering
  • An active DoD Secret clearance that is in-scope (granted or renewed within the last 6 years)
  • Demonstrated experience with aircraft cockpit avionics such as flight displays, flight computers, control systems, data storage, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with Control Account Management (CAM) and a fundamental understanding of project cost, schedule, and risk management
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $75,300 - $112,900 per year. Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
