About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Worker to join our team at Care New England Health System. In this role, you will provide patient-centered care to individuals with mental health conditions, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist registered nurses in direct care of patients, focusing on activities of daily living and promoting a safe and therapeutic environment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Participate in group sessions and activities designed to promote patient engagement and empowerment
  • Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field (or comparable experience)
  • Experience working with mentally ill and/or developmentally delayed clients
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification preferred (with a 2% pay differential available for active license holders)

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as paid time off and opportunities for professional growth and development.
