Physical Therapy Assistant Job Description

Renwick Nursing and Rehab is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant to provide physical therapy services for patients within our Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) according to their individualized plan of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and meet patients' goals and needs through evidence-based care and interventions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans using a variety of techniques to improve clients' motion and mobility.
  • Create fitness- and wellness-oriented programs tailored to patients' specific needs and abilities.
  • Provide quality, personalized care and communicate progress to the Physical Therapist.
  • Evaluate effects and monitor patients' progress to ensure optimal outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Proven work experience as a physical therapist or assistant.
  • Intensive education and clinical expertise in physical therapy.
  • Ability to manage patients with diverse personalities and needs.
  • Current knowledge of treatment practices and techniques.
  • Drive to continually learn and grow in the field of physical therapy.
  • Professional behavior and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Valid license to practice physical therapy and PTA Associate's Degree.
