Wireless Systems Engineer

Job Summary:
MRL Consulting Group is seeking a highly skilled Wireless Systems Engineer to join their innovative research and development team. This role will focus on advancing 6G technologies, contributing to the design, simulation, and modeling of next-generation wireless systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead research in physical layer, MAC layer, and air-interface design
- Develop and evaluate wireless protocols and algorithms through theoretical analysis and simulations for beyond 5G/6G systems
- Analyze wireless channel models using mathematical and empirical data to accurately represent propagation characteristics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare technical reports, contribute to patents, and present findings at scientific conferences
- Support industry standards efforts and participate in pre-standards research
Qualifications:
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 10 years of experience in wireless communications
- Proficiency in MATLAB and experience with 3GPP system/link level simulations
- Strong expertise in 3GPP, mmWave, beamforming, RF propagation, and advanced waveform design
- Research experience in Beyond 5G/6G with a proven track record of peer-reviewed publications
