Maintenance Planner Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team at 3V Sigma USA. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for coordinating and planning maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our chemical manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work Order Management: Screen and analyze incoming work orders to determine the level of planning required.
  • Job Site Assessment: Conduct field walkdowns to identify job requirements and ensure safety measures are in place.
  • Safety Coordination: Collaborate with the Safety Department to enforce all relevant safety procedures.
  • Resource Planning: Estimate work duration, required skills, and procure necessary equipment, tools, and parts.
  • Documentation: Prepare work procedures, gather technical documents, and compile job packages for skilled trades.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the management team to set priorities and communicate job expectations to skilled trades.
  • Continuous Improvement: Gather feedback from the trades to enhance future job efficiency.
  • Scheduling & Reporting: Lead weekly coordination meetings, publish weekly schedules, and generate reports from the CMMS on work management processes.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or GED; 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing pumps, valves, gearboxes, etc.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems and proficiency with Windows-based programs.
  • Strong mechanical/electrical knowledge.
  • The ability to develop detailed work plans and write clear, concise work procedures.
  • A collaborative mindset to work with Safety, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to ensure quality and safe work.
