Job Summary

As a key member of our IHOP team, the Hospitality Ambassador plays a crucial role in ensuring every guest has an exceptional dining experience. We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess.

The successful candidate will be responsible for greeting guests with a warm smile and promptly seating them. They will also be expected to handle phone calls, take orders, and process To-Go and delivery orders. As part of our dynamic team, you will have opportunities to grow and develop your skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests and seat them promptly
• Handle phone calls and take orders
• Process To-Go and delivery orders
• Manage waitlists during peak periods
• Provide menu recommendations and answer questions
• Upsell additional products when applicable
• Communicate order details to the kitchen staff
• Deliver food and beverages to guests in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Requirements:

• Previous experience in hospitality or a related field is an asset
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends
