Nurse Specialist for Telemetry Unit

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist for our Telemetry Unit. This role is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your expertise and make a real difference in the lives of our patients.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional outcomes. As a Nurse Specialist, you will have the autonomy to make decisions and take charge of patient care, making this an ideal role for experienced nurses looking to advance their careers.
This is a 13-week contract position, working 36 hours per week on a 12-hour night shift schedule. The starting date is flexible, but we require candidates to start as soon as possible.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert patient care, prioritizing individual needs and tailoring care plans accordingly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
- Assess patients' conditions, identifying potential risks and taking proactive steps to mitigate them
- Maintain accurate records, documenting patient progress and any concerns or issues
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues, ensuring seamless coordination of care
Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise in telemetry nursing, with a strong understanding of relevant theories and best practices
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and make informed decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- A minimum of one to three years of experience in telemetry nursing, preferably in a similar setting
