Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

About the Role:We are committed to providing high-quality cardiovascular services, and as an Echocardiographer, you will play a critical role in ensuring our patients receive the best possible care. Your expertise in performing echocardiogram procedures will be invaluable in assisting cardiologists and promoting patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities:- You will perform high-quality echocardiogram procedures, utilizing your knowledge of anatomy and disease processes to accurately communicate patient pathology to cardiologists.
- As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will collaborate with cardiologists during TEE's and cardioversions, demonstrating effective communication and leadership skills.
- You will maintain accurate records, including preliminary calculations and post-measurements, and ensure that all requests from physicians and patients are completed in a timely manner.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A degree from an accredited Echocardiography program and registration or registry eligibility in Echocardiography.
- Proficiency in performing TEE studies, stress echo studies, and use of contrast.
- BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
