Fort Worth Donor Relations Manager

KERA, a leading public media organization for North Texas, seeks an experienced and dynamic professional to join its Development Team as a Donor Relations Officer. This role is responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with current and prospective donors in Fort Worth and Tarrant County, ultimately contributing to the growth of KERA's donor base and achievement of annual and capital campaign goals.

Job DescriptionThis position reports directly to the Director of Major Gifts and will oversee a portfolio of major donors in Fort Worth and Tarrant County. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily interactions with donors, including written correspondence, phone calls, visits, and events. Key objectives include:
- Stewarding existing relationships and growing individual major donor contributions in Fort Worth
- Collaborating with the Campaign and Major Gifts team to achieve capital campaign goals in Tarrant County
- Implementing moves management strategies to identify and cultivate new major donors from mid-level donor bases in Tarrant County
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- At least 3 years of non-profit fundraising experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build strong relationships with donors and staff
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
