Job Title: Certified/Registered Medical Assistant/EMT

At WomanCare Centers, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified/Registered Medical Assistant/EMT to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our providers in delivering high-quality medical services.

Responsibilities:
  • Obtain vital signs and chief complaints while updating patient medical charts.
  • Record health history with precision and attention to detail.
  • Collect lab specimens and conduct point-of-care testing.
  • Prioritize tasks and apply critical thinking skills to ensure efficient patient care.
  • Assist providers with exams and patient care.
  • Set up for and assist providers with in-office procedures.
  • Anticipate patient care needs based on presentation.
  • Monitor in-office supply and report when items are needed.
  • Clean and sterilize equipment and workspaces.
  • Educate and empower patients throughout the medical process.
  • Collaborate with teammates to provide and receive support.

Requirements:
  • Medical Assistant Certification/Registration required. EMT acceptable but must obtain MA certificate within 90 days.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize based on care needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • OBGYN experience a plus but not mandatory for someone willing to learn.
