Job Summary:
The Administrative Coordinator for Undergraduate Affairs provides administrative support to the Office of the Associate Provost of Undergraduate Affairs. This role involves handling logistical tasks, scheduling meetings, and ensuring smooth office operations.

About the Role:
This is a dynamic opportunity for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Boston University. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Handle logistical tasks for events, including reserving spaces, coordinating email communications, catering, and AV equipment needs.
  • Schedule and coordinate administrative details for meetings, including assembling and distributing meeting agendas and materials.
  • Ensure smooth office operations by utilizing the internal procurement system to make purchases, tracking expenses, and monitoring department email accounts.
  • Track and compile data related to departmental programming and manage confidential student records.

Requirements:
  • B.A./B.S. degree and one to three years of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, including ability to write well and deal effectively with diverse groups.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ongoing attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects and priorities.

Additional Information:
This role is eligible to apply for a remote-work arrangement for up to one day per week. Evening work may be required on occasion, but will be scheduled far in advance.
