Job Summary

The Ecommerce Collectibles Supervisor plays a pivotal role in leading a team of talented individuals in maximizing the value of our donation stream. This role oversees the identification, authentication, appraisal, and listing of collectibles and other products to Goodwill's online stores.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and lead the Ecommerce Collectibles Team to achieve daily and monthly goals.
  • Provide hands-on training and mentoring to team members through daily stand-ups, one-on-ones, and coaching logs.
  • Participate in performance management conversations and provide payroll support, including timecard verification and schedule management.
  • Assist in new hire orientation and paperwork.
  • Own daily production goals and execute management priorities to support the squad.
  • Generate sales reports and daily production tracking metrics for weekly leadership meetings.
  • Build and maintain strong training documentation for online listing processes.
  • Execute daily quality control checks and provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Create product listings with titles and detailed descriptions.
  • Post products for sale online and contribute to exceeding sales goals.
  • Research online marketplaces to make informed decisions about product listings.
  • Identify and pull products from the donation stream for online sale.
  • Assist in the authentication of items.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 1-2 years of ecommerce experience.
  • Minimum 2-4 years of experience in a collectibles-related field is preferred.
  • Digital photography background is a plus.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.
  • Must be able to type 40+ WPM.
  • Extensive knowledge in at least one area of collectible items is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including in-person, phone, and electronic-based communication.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence and partner with diverse groups.
  • Highly collaborative and open to multiple perspectives.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications and cloud-based office applications.
  • Ability to utilize self-learning systems.
  • Professional demeanor, poise under pressure, and strong attention to detail.
