Compensation: The salary for this position is estimated at $128,000 per year, based on industry standards and the candidate's experience.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 5-7 years of litigation experience, specializing in construction defect litigation. Your expertise will help us deliver exceptional results for our clients in Texas.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse caseload, prioritizing timely reporting to clients and insureds.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction through prompt communication and effective case management.
  • Research and analyze complex laws, drafting relevant documents and pleadings.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, ensuring your expertise remains current.
  • Conduct discovery, trials, depositions, mediations, and arbitrations as required.
  • Effectively communicate and persuade using written and verbal skills.
  • Collaborate with experts when necessary.
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' interests.
  • Meet deadlines, providing high-quality work product to supervising attorneys.

Requirements:

  • Litigation experience: 5+ years
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Insurance defense and personal injury defense experience
  • Construction defect defense litigation experience (3-4+)
  • Computer and software proficiency
  • Active member of the Texas State Bar

Benefits:
