About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Holiday Loan Processor to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our clients while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Loan Officers and Credit Union members to provide a seamless Holiday Loan experience.
  • Gather and document loan applications in accordance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and NCUA regulations.
  • Accurately input data into LINK loan origination system.
  • Closure and disbursement of loan funds.
  • Cross-selling additional loan products to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Electronic document completion.
  • Mail, fax, and email processing.
  • Potential rotation on Saturdays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Familiarity with Credit Unions, Banking, and Loan processes.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must pass client-specific pre-hire compliance checks.
  • Avoiding any red flags in credit history, verified during hiring process.
  • Previous Consumer Lending experience preferred.
  • The selected candidate will guarantee confidentiality and security of all account information and adhere to applicable laws and regulations.
  • Educational background and/or relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in using various software tools.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Scope and complexity of job tasks.
  • Level of authority and decision-making latitude.
  • Prior lending experience within Credit Unions, Banks, or Finance companies.
  • Knowledge of Synapsys, LINK, and Episys systems an asset.
  • Understanding of pay statements, tax returns, vehicle purchase orders, and credit reports beneficial.
  • Sales-oriented environment experience a plus.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent customer service skills demonstrated through previous roles.
  • Possess above-average telephone communication skills.
  • Capacity to adapt well to dynamic environments, handle multiple tasks, and collaborate as part of a cohesive team.
  • Above-average professional interaction abilities with colleagues and customers.
  • Effective communication and problem-solving skills essential.
  • Fluency in Spanish a valuable asset.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and analyze data.
  • Self-motivation combined with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Efficient time management, prioritization, and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory attendance record.
