Lahlouh, a leading provider of end-to-end commercial print solutions, seeks an experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join its sales team. With a strong focus on developing collaborative, comprehensive solutions, our ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to identify new business opportunities, customers, and markets based on Lahlouh's ideal client profile.

The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic and transactional selling, as well as account management. This role requires a deep understanding of the commercial print industry, including graphic design, prepress, offset printing, digital printing, bindery, finishing, mailing, assembly, and fulfillment/warehousing services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and deliver sales presentations to clients and prospects
  • Provide plant tours and demonstrate Lahlouh's capabilities
  • Review print estimates and calculate pricing, taking into account budgeted hourly rates, equipment standards, job specifications, mark-up calculations, and value-add calculations
  • Coordinate pre-production meetings for large or non-standard projects
  • Ensure accurate and complete job specifications are obtained from clients and relayed to project managers
  • Participate in brainstorming ideas and reviewing job dates with scheduling teams when jobs have critical deadline requirements or processes that require extra time
  • Review digital files, preflight reports, and proofs prior to sending to clients
  • Coordinate delivery of proofs, samples, proposals, etc. to clients and follow up on their return
  • Follow procedures and maintain compliance with industry-standard requirements (ISO, FSC, SOC-2, etc.)
  • Conduct press checks, bindery checks, audits, etc. with or without clients
  • Work with manufacturing personnel to answer questions, offer guidance, troubleshoot problems, etc.
  • Oversee large Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Manage sales administrative tasks, including processing expense reports, facilitating credit applications for clients, reviewing contracts, providing sales forecasts, addressing outstanding invoices, etc.

Requirements:

  • Previous commission-based selling experience in the commercial print industry (5 years minimum)
  • College degree preferred (BA/BS) or extensive industry experience required
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Outlook programs (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Above-average verbal and written communication skills
  • Personal car required for job; must be willing to travel, as needed, to support clients and be onsite at manufacturing plants, when needed
  • Client entertainment required (meals, work travel, events, etc.)

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000-$200,000 annually, with 100% commission after the first year guarantee and commissions averaging 7-9%. If you're a motivated and results-driven individual looking to take your career to the next level, please submit your application.
