Relationship Manager

Capital Group is seeking a Relationship Manager to lead sales initiatives in the RIA channel.
As a key member of our team, you will identify firm and firm representative needs, and coordinate efforts to serve those needs. Your territory will cover the Northwest region, including Washington, Oregon, Colorado, and Utah.
You will be responsible for managing American Funds Distributions presence, relationships, and business results with key RIA firms. To excel in this role, you should have a proven track record in third-party distribution, a broad knowledge of the mutual fund, SMA, and ETF business, and sales cultures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building long-term relationships with RIA firms
- Developing and executing sales strategies to drive business growth
- Managing portfolio construction and distribution
- Leveraging technologies to create custom analysis
- Communicating effectively with senior sales force members
Requirements:
- Proven track record in third-party distribution
- Broad knowledge of mutual fund, SMA, and ETF business
- Technical knowledge of portfolio construction
- Excellent communication and sales skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
What we offer:
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
